So many of us crawl out of bed in the morning and reach for a sugary coffee or cup of tea, often accompanied with a slice of toasted white bread and sugary spread of some description. We think we are getting an energy boost to kick-start our day. We continue our day with sugary snacks and processed meals. We then complain about our consistent lethargy, sugar cravings, stomach cramps, bloating and weight gain. Our sugar cravings seem to dominate when really our bodies are crying out for real nutrients. We should be craving vegetables! Many of us think of it as stressful trying to consume the recommended five portions a day of fruit and vegetables. There is a fast and easy way to do this and this is by juicing!
By juicing raw fruits and vegetables you can easily meet if not exceed the recommended five-a-day serving and do so quickly which is important with our hectic schedules. Consuming the juice of these foods also allows your body to absorb all the nutrients in an easily digestible form. Many of us have poor digestive systems due to years of bad eating habits so many good nutrients pass through as waste.
